Experience and domains of activities

Double background as agricultural and civil engineer and developed a carrier in rural infrastructure, Water mobilization and distribution structures both for irrigation and drinking purposes, land reclamation. I am involved in research and development at IAV Hassan II in the Department of Water, Environment and water Infrastructure. I carried out studies on rural infrastructure evaluation, and improvement in the areas of roads, grain storage and irrigation, rural development and conservation of resources on integrated and sustainable basis. Work on projects designs, appraisals, Evaluations, Mid-Term Reviews, Supervisions, Training, Attend and/or organize and contribute in regional and international meetings and workshops on agricultural/civil engineering disciplines, rural development, elaboration of methodologies, etc 38 years carrier to undertake various activities covering different areas: Assessments of Infrastructure Performances and impact, food security development and rehabilitation of irrigation water mobilization and conveying, rural roads, water structures, grain elevators and food security, livestock building. In permanent contact with field realities, with integrated development of rural areas, water management issues, environment protection as well as with professionals, various experts and scientific authorities Countries where consultation work was undertaken: Tunisia, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Togo, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Congo Brazzaville, Vietnam, and Laos, Senegal, Turkey, Cabo Verde. Projects in which I was involved infrastructure for water supply, sanitation, irrigation, rural roads, grain storage on farm and at central level, etc.

-Author and editor of two books in Arabic and French on "traditional storage structures, appropriate, alternative and modern" 1995. Preface by Mr. A. Meziane, then Minister of Agriculture and Enhancement.

-Editor of the newsletter r?eseau post-harvest AUPELF UREF 1990-1992

-Publisher volume II.1 on "Buildings and breeding facilities" Treaty (Handbook) Rural Engineering comprises six volumes. The Treaty is prepared by the International Commission of Agricultural Engineering and published by the American Association of Agricultural Engineering (ASAE)
